We are continually monitoring the ever-changing situation with regards to coronavirus (Covid-19) and following the latest government guidelines. The Biosphere currently remains open but our number one priority is the safety of our tenants, staff and the wider community, and as such we have taken certain measures to combat the spread of Covid-19:

  • We have cancelled all external meetings for the foreseeable future and are asking tenants where possible to limit the number of people that come to the building;
  • We request that tenants keep us as up to date as possible regarding staff self-isolating, testing for Covid-19, working from home etc.;
  • We will continue the stringent cleaning of communal areas to keep everyone as safe as possible; and
  • We are in regular consultation with Newcastle City Council and continue to follow government guidelines.

Reception will be manned between 8 am and 4.30 pm Monday to Friday.

The Biosphere is home to some truly innovative businesses within the region’s life sciences ecosystem and, while it is safe to do so, we will remain open so that they can continue their amazing work.

We will continue to keep everyone updated on the situation as much as we can.
